We have handled some of Nigeria’s most challenging and high-profile commercial and regulatory disputes, representing multinational corporations, governments, financial institutions, indigenous corporations, foreign investors, regulators, and high-net-worth individuals. Our work on landmark cases has contributed to the development of legal jurisprudence from the trial courts to the Supreme Court.

Our team includes Senior Advocates of Nigeria (equivalent to Queen’s Counsel) and lawyers with decades of courtroom experience across highly regulated sectors, including banking and financial services, telecommunications and energy. We combine this experience with a strategic and commercial approach to help clients manage litigation and regulatory enforcement risks and, where possible, avoid disruptive proceedings.

We also advise clients on arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. Our team includes Fellows, Members and Associates of leading arbitration institutions, including the Lagos Court of Arbitration and the London Court of International Arbitration. We have handled complex domestic and international commercial and investor-state arbitrations and advise clients throughout the arbitration life cycle, from pre-arbitration strategy through post-award proceedings.
