Our Tax practice advises multinational and leading indigenous companies on complex tax matters arising from their businesses, investments and transactions in Nigeria. We advise across tax compliance, planning, advisory and disputes, combining technical expertise with a practical understanding of the commercial implications of tax.

Our work covers corporate income tax, transfer pricing, restructurings, buyouts, private wealth and family office matters, mergers and acquisitions, and other domestic and cross-border tax matters. We advise clients on the tax implications of significant transactions, develop efficient tax structures, and support the implementation of tax strategies.

We also represent clients in tax controversies and engagements with the relevant tax authorities. Our experience in multi-jurisdictional matters enables us to advise Nigerian and foreign businesses on the tax considerations arising from operating, investing, and structuring their affairs in Nigeria.

We work closely with our Corporate and Commercial plus Dispute Resolution teams where tax considerations intersect with transactions, regulatory matters, and contentious proceedings. This integrated approach allows us to provide commercially grounded advice that addresses both immediate tax issues and the wider objectives and risks of our clients’ businesses.
