Biography

Oghenemega Gbenedio is a Trainee Associate at the firm with interests spanning Corporate Governance and Regulatory Compliance, Energy and Natural Resources, Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT), Corporate and Commercial Law, and Dispute Resolution & Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

She is a commercially astute and detail-oriented lawyer recognised for her strong analytical ability, intellectual rigour, and practical approach to solving complex legal and regulatory issues. Her meticulous research and drafting skills make her a valuable member of teams handling advisory, transactional, regulatory, and contentious matters across a range of industries.

Oghenemega graduated with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from the University of Lagos, where she built a strong foundation in commercial law and legal practice. She subsequently graduated from the Nigerian Law School with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

At the firm, she supports clients and senior members of the team in a variety of corporate, regulatory, commercial, and contentious matters, assisting with legal research, drafting, due diligence, regulatory advisory, transaction support, and dispute resolution.
