She advises employers, financial institutions, telecommunications operators, and public-sector clients on employment matters, technology and data regulation, high-value transactions, and complex disputes, with particular depth in data protection and Nigerian financial services regulation.
Ujunwa has acted on some of the most significant mandates in the Nigerian market in recent years, including advising on a US$8 billion asset purchase transaction, representing the Central Bank of Nigeria in the landmark naira redesign litigation, and acting for the Federal Government of Nigeria in a hydrocarbon recovery claim valued at over US$100 million. She most recently concluded on secondment to the commercial transactions team of MTN Nigeria, where she provided end-to-end transactional and regulatory support to one of Africa's largest telecommunications operators.
Ujunwa writes regularly on Nigerian commercial and regulatory law, with publications addressing the enforceability of employment bonds and employee mobility, Nigeria's banking sector windfall tax, advertising regulation, and digital inclusion.
