KENNA, in partnership with the AIFA Reading Society, a nonprofit organization committed to increasing literacy for children and adults, marked the 2026 International Day of Education with an outreach session at Ebute Elefun Senior Secondary School in Lagos on Friday, 23 January 2026. The session featured guest speakers who shared practical insights on the value of education for career impact. Guest speakers Ms. Yetunde Daramola, Chief of Operations at AIFA; Ms. Barbara Aduba, a Process Safety Engineer; and Ms. Sonia Onyia, Associate at KENNA, engaged the students on the value of education, from its transformative personal impact and key role in unlocking professional possibilities to how students themselves can actively participate in co-creating an educated society.
KENNA reinforced its commitment to education by donating 50 curated educational and inspirational books to the school’s library. The session directly engaged 50 students, 33 girls and 17 boys, in structured discussions on education as a foundational right and a tool for personal and societal development. The AIFA Reading Society established in is a registered not-for-profit organization committed to fostering a reading culture and promoting quality education for sustainable development.
